Here are shots of Amtrak trains later during its second decade.
In May, 1987 F40PH 216 leads an Amfleet train
out of Boston's South Station on the Dorchester branch.

In May, 1988 CF7 575 moves a baggage car and a
material handling car over the South Bay drawbridge
from South Station, Boston.

In April, 1986 two F40s bring "The Night Owl"
through South Bay
into Boston's South Station. Adjacent is the shop and yard for the MBTA's
Red Line Rapid Transit route (and the yard contains a number of Orange
Line cars awaiting dispostion).
